Marcus & Chatara (Ty) Sullivan
Marcus and Chatara (Ty) Sullivan are the visionary owners of Grand Imaging Studios, faith-driven entrepreneurs who lead with passion, purpose, and a heart for service. As a family of eight — blessed with one daughter, five sons, and a grandson — they proudly call Houston, Texas home.
Together, Marcus and Chatara manage multiple business ventures, but they both fully understand and acknowledge that nothing they accomplish is possible without Jesus Christ. Their love for God, their faith in His guidance, and their heart for serving others are the true foundations of everything they do.
They are committed to building community through ministry, mentorship, and creativity, while remaining devoted, loyal, and intentional about letting their light shine in a way that impacts others for the better. For Marcus and Chatara, success isn’t measured by accolades, but by the lives they touch, the people they help, and the legacy they build through faith.
At Grand Imaging Studios, their mission remains clear: to create spaces and opportunities where others are empowered, inspired, and uplifted — all while reflecting the love, excellence, and grace of God.
Our Background
The Journey of Grand Imaging
Grand Imaging’s story began with a vision planted in 2011. At that time, our founder Marcus Sullivan was serving as the producer for the nationally syndicated Yolanda Adams Morning Show. It was during this season of creativity and influence that God first gave Marcus the vision for
Grand Imaging .
a platform dedicated to empowering creatives through media, content, film making,and authentic storytelling. Yolanda Adams herself became one of the very first people to invest in Marcus’s dream, offering encouragement and belief when the idea was still just taking shape.
In April of 2011, Marcus officially launched Grand Imaging. However, as his radio and media career began to rapidly expand, Marcus made the difficult but necessary decision to put the business on hold. For more than a decade, Grand Imaging remained untouched, while Marcus continued to build his reputation and expertise within the media industry.
Fast forward to 2023 — after sharing his long-held vision with Chatara (Ty) Sullivan, who at the time was not yet his wife, they both committed to seeking God's clarity through prayer and fasting. God confirmed the calling and even led Ty to search for the right building to house this renewed vision. Through divine confirmation, God revealed that this was indeed the right place to begin again.
In another moment of God’s perfect timing, Marcus and Ty reconnected with old college friends, Maceo and Shantel Smedley. After hearing Marcus share the vision for Grand Imaging, the Smedleys immediately embraced it and became investors and partners in bringing the dream back to life.
With their support and God’s continued guidance, Grand Imaging officially relaunched in April 2023. What began as a vision delayed has now been reborn with greater clarity, deeper faith, and expanded opportunities. Today, Grand Imaging is committed to making a meaningful impact in the media world — building platforms, empowering creators, and fostering a faith-driven creative family that honors God through every project, partnership, and production. a short description.
